A congregational meeting has been called for Sunday, August 18, following the 10 a.m. service of worship for the purpose of filling a vacancy on the Board of Trustees.

John O’Brien will discuss President Lincoln, his New York Avenue church pastor, Phineas Gurley, and how their relationship shaped Lincoln’s views on the Emancipation Proclamation.
