DESCRIPTION:Does some of the language and imagery in our NYAPC communal worship – bible translations\, music\, communion liturgy – favor this Easter Story?. First\, we are all stained at birth by “original sin”. Then Christ died on the cross for our sin – “penal substitutionary atonement”. Finally\, on Easter we are “saved” by the resurrection.
