SUMMARY:Stories from Cuba: Hope and Resilience in Havana
DESCRIPTION:Join us in the Lincoln Parlor on the first floor to hear from four NYAPC members who recently visited our partner congregation\, First Presbyterian-Reformed Church of Havana. They’ll share experiences\, impressions\, and insights gathered from interactions with church members\, a visit to the Matanzas seminary\, and time spent at an organic farm outside Havana. Despite ongoing challenges like frequent electricity blackouts\, the community’s unwavering commitment to “Be Church” amidst economic hardship continues to inspire. Grab some coffee and treats\, and learn firsthand about the current situation in Cuba and how our church partners are navigating their daily lives. All are welcome. No registration required.
