Need a break during the Pride Parade? New York Avenue Presbyterian Church, right along the route at 14th & New York Ave NW, is opening its doors from 12:30 to 6:30 pm to offer a space for rest, refreshment, and reflection. Stop by our outdoor table for free water, snacks, and sunscreen, or head inside for even more refreshments, gender-neutral restrooms, air conditioning, and a peaceful Sanctuary to catch your breath. Whether you need a quiet moment away from the crowds or just a snack and a smile, you are warmly welcome—just as you are. 🌈

Getting here: The easiest way to reach us is via Metro Center (Red/Blue/Orange) or McPherson Square (Orange/Blue/Silver). If you’re coming through McPherson Square, please arrive early so you can cross the street to reach our side—crossings will be blocked once the parade begins.
