Radcliffe Room

Compassion In Action

For more than 45 years, we have invited people experiencing homelessness to a Sunday morning breakfast from 8:15 am – 9:45 am. Eggs, bacon, sandwiches, bagels, and coffee are served to our guests by members and friends of the congregation, members of the community, and some of our homeless neighbors themselves.

In addition to breakfast, the Radcliffe Room offers a clothing closet where our guests can receive clothing and toiletries. All gendered clothing is available. No registration is required – just show up!

There is no formal “check in” on arrival.  Before we open (7:45 am – 8:15 am), people help make sandwiches with either cream cheese or peanut butter and jelly; they help organize clothes.  While we are open (8:15 am – 9:45 am), people help serve food, clean dishes, distribute clothes, and clean tables.  No advanced training is required.
