During the DC Pride Parade on Saturday, June 20, NYAPC will once again open its doors as a place of welcome, rest, and refreshment. From 2pm to 6 pm, we’ll be offering free water, snacks, sunscreen, restrooms, air conditioning, and a peaceful Sanctuary to anyone who needs a break from the crowd.
We’re looking for volunteers to greet guests and hand out water and snacks, both at our outdoor table and inside the building. To volunteer, fill out a form here.
If you have more than one person in your party, please fill out additional forms for each person.
We also need donations of mini water bottles and grab snacks, which can be dropped off at the reception desk.
