Guest Preacher: Rev. Sam Wells

July 26 | 10:00 am - 11:30 am

We are delighted to welcome The Rev. Dr. Sam Wells to the NYAPC pulpit.

Sam joins us for eight days of preaching, conversation, and community reflection on church renewal, rooted in his book, A Future that is Bigger Than The Past: Catalysing Kingdom Communities.

One of today’s most influential public theologians, Sam is vicar of St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London’s Trafalgar Square, where cultural life, compassion ministry, and commercial enterprise are woven into the fabric of a thriving urban congregation. Ordained in the Church of England, he has served as a parish priest for nearly three decades and spent seven years as Dean of Duke University Chapel. He is a visiting professor of Christian ethics at King’s College London, a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4, and the author of more than 50 books on ethics, ministry, Scripture, and preaching.

No registration required. All are welcome.

Sam’s visit is sponsored by the McClendon Scholar Program of NYAPC.
