Our partners at the Washington Interfaith Network are calling on DC DHS and DMV to remove barriers that keep unhoused and housing-insecure neighbors from getting a DC ID. Access to housing, employment, banking, benefits, and other basic services often depends on having an ID, yet proof-of-residency requirements still make that difficult for many residents.
